How might we, as fashion consumers, buy less and consciously?

 

Being a fashion designer and a fashion consumer, I am aware of the contradicting problems of the fast-fashion industry. Today, we expect Prêt-à-Porter brands to manufacture sustainable clothes, yet we as their consumers are not ready to pay fairly for the same. 

 

Hence, in this project, I tried to explore how we can transform ourselves into responsible fashion consumers.

Can a simple change in consumer behavior lead to sustainability in the fashion industry?
