MFA Thesis Project.

• Researched the relationship between object attachment and design value, resulting in a published study called Veneration of Objects by ProQuest Publishing Company.

 

• Founded and designed the UI/UX of an interactive website called, To Revere.

 

 • To Revere, a product of my research, is a live adaptive website for immortalizing esteemed possessions virtually and anonymously. Users may also participate in a reflective quiz that conceptualizes their bond with their inanimate possessions via an algorithm-based data visualization in real-time.

 

 

The two purposes of the website in detail:

​

1. A digital museum where people can upload images of their esteemed objects anonymously as a method to glorify and immortalize them.

 

​2. A space where participants can discern their bond with their esteemed objects, based on five researched factors, Emotional support, Identity, Apophenia, Idolatry and Interest. On submission of a reflective quiz, the platform analyses its data into a simple infographic diagram for the participant.
